Tartan Teddy Bear felt much better. He jumped down the porch steps and walked to school.
What Tartan Teddy didn’t know was that the Soap did not change its mind at all. And he was not back upstairs in the soap dish.
Tartan Teddy Bear grabbed his lunchbox and took one last look around the kitchen. “The Soap must have changed its mind,” thought Tartan Teddy. “It must have gone back upstairs to the soap dish where it belongs.”

And he settled back against Teddy’s soft sandwich to think, while Tartan Teddy unknowingly carried him to school.
“This is a wonderful way to get to Tartan Teddy’s school,” thought the Soap. “And when I get there, I will have the most fun I have ever had! Now, I must take some time and think of clever tricks to play on Tartan Teddy while he is at school.”

Mrs. Manos-Steele and her husband call the Northeast Ohio area their home.
She does her best writing when left to herself for hours with a comfortable chair and complete silence, where her imagination can take her away to places we all wish to visit.
She loves the fact that her maiden name and married name combined sounds like a super-hero!
Cindy Manos-Steele is the mother of three daughters and the wife of a police officer, but she has also been an actress, a singer in a rock band, a studio singer (having sung on numerous radio and television commercials), and the owner/operator of two small businesses.
